Support may be funded through investigator-held grants, departmental or unit funds, or UHN cost-recovery and invoicing mechanisms, depending on the project and collaboration. Funding arrangements can be discussed and confirmed at project initiation.

It is strongly recommended that you seek statistical advice at the planning stage or as early as possible.

We work with researchers as scientific collaborators, with authorship guided by the UHN Research Authorship Policy and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) guidelines.

If you are working with a statistician dedicated to your research projects, please contact them directly. A minimum two-week notice is strongly recommended. Otherwise, please complete the online Project Request Form immediately with the specified deadline.

Timelines vary depending on the type and scope of the collaboration, the quality and readiness of the data, and the complexity of the analyses required. Generally, it takes 2-4 weeks to complete statistical analyses from the submission of 'clean data' to completion of the report.
